After some difficulties with "no-shows" from different companies, I was blown away by Ryan's prompt communication, organized scheduling, and professionalism. He was able to guide me through the decision-making process on upgrading our furnace in a way I could easily understand. Ultimately he helped us realize gas wasn't the best option for our particular situation and even put us in touch with another business that would better suit our needs. Way above and beyond as far as customer service goes, and I wish we were able to continue working with him! Would highly recommend Ryan to anyone!

If you are looking for any chimney work or your annual inspection and sweep; choose A1 Chimney Sweep. The owner, Anthony, is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I had quite a bit of work done on my chimney that took over a week (in total) to complete. Nate and Jason completed the work, and they also were very knowledgeable, but also so professional and hard working. They were so respectful when coming in and out of my home. The final outcome is amazing and we love having a safe, working fireplace!

I used Ryan for our annual fireplace inspection and service as required by our strata regulations. The service call was on time and his work was very meticulous. He also took proper COVID precautions. He did a much more thorough job than the service used by the property management company without damage to the fireplace. I would highly recommend his service.

I decided to give A1 Chimney Sweep a call based on the google reviews when I was looking to get my old Propane fireplace replaced. Ryan had exceptional communication and guided me though my options. He recently installed a Valor fireplace and I could not be more happy. Their work was impeccable. I recently installed new hardwood floors and was a bit nervous that they would get scratched during the installation. Ryan and his team showed up prepared and put protective covers down while working. They kept the site clean and worked quickly. The also followed all current safety protocols. I cant thank Ryan enough for the amazing service. I recommend A1 Chimney Sweep to anyone. The amount of positive feedback on Google reviews is a testament to his professionalism, skill, service and his commitment to quality. I am a very happy customer. Ryan replaced our wood burning fireplace with a beautiful and efficient Valor gas fireplace. It was a full non-stop day for both him and his helper, Trevor, removing the old stove, putting in the gas line and new pipe. They worked very hard and did a wonderful job. We just replaced our oil furnace with a gas furnace from A1 Chimney Sweep. We also had Ryan install a gas fireplace. We chose A1 Chimney Sweep based on reputation and a recommendation from the Better Business Bureau. Ryan is one of the few contractors who returns calls promptly, explains options clearly, and had all his crew ready to go on time. They did a really good job of installation and go the extra mile in making sure the job is done right, such as extra clamps on the exhaust pipe, cleaning up, hauling away the old junk. We are really happy with the results. We would recommend A1 Chimney Sweep to anyone who wants a job done well, on time and on budget. Very professional, and courteous

I’ve used Ryan on numerous occasions over the years, starting with the installation of a new wood stove insert. After the first experience I knew he would be my go-to for anything wood stove and chimney related. After 30 yrs of being in our house we decided to get a fireplace insert and chose a gas insert. We got 3 estimates, Ryan being one who was highly recommended. We chose to go with Ryan as his estimate was competitive, he was knowledgeable , straightforward and returned my phone calls and answered my emails promptly. He arrived on time and the installation went smoothly. I love my Valor 3.5. and would not hesitate in recommending Ryan and his crew.
