I cannot rate right now because I still haven't received my package. It is not expected to arrive, according to tracking, until 1/27/24. (I paid for fast shipping) The website took my PO Box shipping address without a problem. I received my tracking info and discovered DHL express is delivering my package. It turns out they do not ship to Post offices. I tried to change the address to a shipping drop off station in my town where DHL picks up packages. It wouldn't accept the zip code as a place it delivers event though it's the same zip code as the PO and only a mile away. I did an extensive text "chat" with a live person and they couldn't change it either and said they would need to give it to the USPS on route. I asked if I would have a new tracking number and they said yes.
Currently when I track it says they handed it to a third party service, but didn't name what it was , and so far I have not received a new way to track it. It may or may not be the USPS.
Before I placed my order I called De Cabana because I saw in reviews they were either rated really high or low and the low ratings seemed to center on shipping issues. I asked the man about this when I called. He was very nice and at the end of the conversation I felt comfortable ordering.
I really want to get this package and right now I'm just hoping it gets here even though its another week off.
If the website had caught the PO Box address as a problem from the beginning and I knew it was being shipped by a service that did not ship to post offices I would have found an alternative address from the beginning.
Thank-you for asking for feedback. I see I have to rate to submit this so for now will pick a low number but I don't want to rate low if I eventually get what I ordered and its in good shape etc.
I haven't called De Cabana since the first phone call because I thought I should be dealing with the shipping service instead.
